How to Use the Poem Generator

Using the Poem Generator is simple! Follow these steps to create your own unique verses:

  1. Enter Your Topic/Keywords: In the text box labeled “Your Topic / Keywords:”, type in words, phrases, feelings, or a subject you want the poem to be about. Don’t worry about length; you can add as much detail as you like to guide the generator. Examples: stormy night, first bloom of spring, feeling hopeful, city lights reflecting on wet pavement.
  2. Select a Poem Style: Click the dropdown menu labeled “Poem Style:”. Choose the desired length and structure for your poem from the available options (like Short Free Verse, Simple Rhyme, Haiku-like, etc.). The text in the dropdown is small to ensure options are visible even on narrow screens.
  3. Generate & Preview: Click the “Generate & Preview Poem” button. The tool will process your input and the selected style to create a poem.
  4. View Your Poem: The generated poem will appear in the preview area below the buttons. Read it over to see if you like it! You can always tweak your input keywords or change the style and click “Generate & Preview Poem” again for a different result.
  5. Copy Your Poem: If you’re happy with the generated poem, click the “Copy to Clipboard” button. This will automatically copy the entire poem text, ready for you to paste wherever you need it (like a document, social media post, message, etc.). You’ll see a confirmation message once copied.

That’s it! Enjoy creating quick and easy poems.
